It crashes on start due to the missing api...dll. I've read the thread at Github. I run Windows 8.0 Pro.
When will I be able to download a version that has the necessary api-ms files? I am eager to try this!

I installed the update for Universal C Runtime for Windows 8.0 Pro after I saw it was from 2015 (before support ended for 8.0 in January 2016). I then clicked on Basilisk icon in the task bar and it started instantly.
