Straits Times doesn't like Basilisk

Post by kiwikid » 2026-02-03, 18:13

I've got used to broken sites displaying a blank page and no error, but the Straits times has the cheek to put the blame on basilisk:

Code: Select all

Unexpected Application Error!
The operation is insecure.

💿 Hey developer 👋

You can provide a way better UX than this when your app throws errors by providing your own ErrorBoundary or errorElement prop on your route.

I don't see that (2026.01.23); there's lots of "React error #418", but the page still displays. Although body now has overflow-y: visible !important, which for some reason I have to uncheck in order to scroll (a problem with the overflow-x: clip workaround?).
