Post by Basilisk-Dev » 2025-10-09, 15:19

I accidentally edited the post with a bunch of incorrect info. sigh.

Should "This Basilisk release integrates all Pale Moon changes from 33.8.1 through 33.9.1" be 33.9.0.1, or is it using the unreleased next Pale Moon version?

That was intentional. I used the UXP commit from this Pale Moon commit: https://repo.palemoon.org/MoonchildProd ... 807f306fb4

Don't do that. it's not tagged and the fact that I'm preparing the release branch for future publication (because I'll be very busy with other stuff) doesn't mean it's release ready! In fact, the current state of the platform at that commit has undocumented changes, and clearly causes confusion to mention an unpublished version of Pale Moon.

Whoops. Thanks for the heads up. I'm not going to undo the release since I've already compiled/released it but I'll update the release notes to not mention that version of Pale Moon.

Edit: Release notes updated

Yeah that's fine :)
It should be stable in that state (thankfully) but for the future always be careful using commits without tags.

............

Downloaded update, & after backing-up my profile, I installed it manually.

I've tested it under normal conditions, & it did everything I asked of it. ....Image....Image....Image

Thanks........
