How to Change the color of the new tab button icon

Post by paul_guo » 2020-07-08, 07:06

I usually use CTR to make my browser closer to the past UI, with the current Basilisk version I am having a problem with the color of the new tab buttons changing, how do I fix it?

This depends on your accent colour in Windows. Since the normal theming in Basilisk has transparency on the new tab button, it needs to be responsive to the accent colour being light or dark, and inverting the button as-needed to keep necessary contrast and legibility. If CTR changes this background, it should also consider enforcing the foreground colour. i.e. if Aris is still maintaining this extension, then he should be made aware of this by raising an issue.
