Would you create your own private builds regularly?

Nope. Irregularly at best. When I feel a security update is pertinent for my use.

Thank you for this - and keeping hope alive.
Are there any change notes for it, please?

These are my private builds -- I do not make release notes, I do not provide support.
If you want to know what changed, check the repo.

Good to see not everything disappeared of this nice project. I'm still using the last Linux build of Fossamail (38.2.0), i just can't find a substitute.
Thunderbird just keeps getting worse with every release, the dev team must be clueless over there. Compared to my Fossamail, Thunderbird eats up 140MB's more than Fossamail! (340, total) On top of that, Thunderbird has nothing to show for that.

First a big thanks for creating Fossamail in the first place and second for silently keeping it alive.
Since there are newer releases, i would be interested in updating my own. Any chance there could be a new Linux release?

And thanks again for Fossamail

Thank you for keeping FossaMail going, even if it's not official. I'm growing weary of Thunderbird and just noticed that you are still pushing security builds. I just installed 38.5.0a1 and I'm look forward to leaving Thunderbird behind!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I always wanted to use this but was locked out when on XP.
Just finally had the time to load it up and it is sooo much better than Thunderbird.

Many thanks for keeping this alive.

FossaMail 38.8.1a1 (unpublished) is available.

This update incorporates security and stability fixes and should completely mitigate the "mailsploit" issue with spoofed "from" addresses.

Perhaps it's just me, but isn't the zipped files supposed to be smaller than the .exe files?
Is there a reason for this? :problem:
