Little bug in the Compatibility option?

Unread post by Iceberg » 2021-02-14, 13:58

I encountered this bug, with versions 29.0.0 e 29.0.1.
By changing the setting, in the Preferences > Advanced > General > Compatibility, the change becomes effective only after restarting the browser.
Retried with a new profile and it's the same thing.
The bug is not present in the version 28.15, in this case the change is activated without the need for a restart. I haven't checked with the versions 28.16 e 28.17.

Yeah confirmed on Windows. I've filed Issue #1741 (UXP) for this regression.

Apparently this thread merits mention on the subreddit, sans any comment or context. Can't imagine why.

Probably just hoping to rekindle discussion about useragents and the drama they made around it.
