This topic is to collect known issues in this beta, to prevent double reports. If you find something new, always check here first.
- Geolocation doesn't work. Issue #498.
- Saving files from downloads where you have set "always ask where to save files" may have the file save dialog immediately close after opening on some sites (e.g. Dropbox). Issue #584.
- "Forget about this site" in the history menu isn't working properly. Issue #579.
- In the library window, some functions aren't working 100% (and will throw errors in the error console).
- "Ask to activate" plugins won't show a visual cue to activate in the plugin area of the page (it's blank).
- MSN.com and Bing.com don't like Pale Moon's default user agent and are half broken as a result. A workaround for this will be put in place since neither site is likely to be responsive to user requests.
- The (non-default) internal PDF viewer is broken. Issue #560. This feature will be removed in the next version considering its extremely limited functionality. Issue #570.
Additional things to note:
- Do not use language packs! They are not compatible. You can only use the browser in English.
- Jetpack/add-on SDK extensions are not supported. the Add-on manager will inform you if your extension is of this type.
- You may have to restart the browser after your initial update to have everything work properly due to some migration quirks.
Before reporting issues, always try first: clear cache, clear cookies, restart the browser. Check also if a new profile exhibits the same problem.
