Also works for me, PM 27.0.0b1 x64 on Linux Mint 17.3 KDE.

It was this:

funny it wont work when blocked, so it must need the storage.
But it also doesn't "ask" when it works.
I tried with the same profile on 26.5 and it works fine.
Tried again with 27.1 beta and it wont work unless I set all sites to ask.
If I set 17track to allow by itself, it still wont work.
I looked and the only addresses 17track uses is its own so its not wanting another site....I dont know why this is happening on 27.1 beta.

There is no such thing as 27.1 beta...
(getting accurate version information is incredibly important when you report something)
blocking permissions on sites may at all times break such sites -- we can't really do much about that.
