Current MSE status in alpha2?

Unread post by mips1 » 2016-09-06, 11:01

Hi,

Installed alpha2 to see how it handles youtube and noticed MSE is not supported. Is it something one has to activate in about:config, install additional linux plugins or just be patient and it will eventually arrive?

Thanks for a great browser!

MSE is available in Tycho a2. Nothing specific needs to be done to use it.
Do note that EME (in-browser DRM) is not part of Pale Moon.

That's not an MSE issue. It's likely that you don't have the required packages for html5 playback. Please see the various GStreamer threads on the forum.
