v27 Alpha 1 (27.0.0a1) has a number of known issues that don't need to be reported - it's already on our radar.
- Sync can't be set up - it throws an error when entering the e-mail (username)
- The character set menu is unavailable, and the error console will list character set menu errors
- Devtools are unavailable, we need to look at what the best approach is here, but lower priority than getting a working and release-ready browser/UI
- Downloads' "estimated time remaining" doesn't work and will show "unknown"
- Dragging tabs to the bookmarks bar to create a bookmark and dragging bookmarks in the toolbar around doesn't work.
- The 64-bit builds install in the 32-bit (x86) location, and identify in the about box as (x86).
- Status bar options/features aren't available yet - status is currently displayed as a pop-up only.
- The "all tabs" graphical preview pane doesn't work.
Some additional important things to note:
- Do not use language packs! They are not compatible. You can only use the browser in English.
- There is no support for Jetpack/SDK extensions (and likely never will be). Your extensions may or may not work depending on their nature.
