Sync data reset/refresh May 19th

Unread post by Moonchild » 2022-05-19, 00:29

Tomorrow, May 19th, at approx. 12:00 UTC, the data table for Sync will be reset to solve excessive table fragmentation issues causing storage thrashing.
This means that any synced data will have to be re-uploaded to the server by sync clients/browsers.

Downtime will be minimal, but obviously your browsers may be briefly out of sync until all data is refreshed and re-merged, and "tabs from other devices" may not be available until all synced devices have refreshed.

I apologize for any inconvenience but this is necessary to prevent premature failure of the server storage.

There has been an unexpected delay for this downtime/refresh. Maintenance will start at the time of this post.
