Can not connect to the sync server
Can not connect to the sync server
Around 2018-11-11T23:00Z the sync server started returning the HTTP/1.1 502 Bad Gateway status code. Did something happen to it?

Re: Can not connect to the sync server
The sync server has been under regular DoS attacks. Something caused a load spike that I will investigate.

Re: Can not connect to the sync server
It seems it was a runaway query caused by a sync user shoving a ridiculous amount of data to the server in a single batch. I'll see if I can tune the db server to handle this better in the future or abort if out of bounds.

Re: Can not connect to the sync server
I guess that explains it. Can I assume that the HTTP/1.1 412 PRECONDITION FAILED errors and that I have been getting today are also part of that problem?
