Incorrect username or password

hi moonchild,

i havent used the sync service for some months now, i dont recall whether it was before or after the last sync maintenance in may 2025.
im now unable to login to the service, its saying incorrect username or password.
im sure i've got the correct username, password and recovery key as its autotype from my password manager.

could we check why my account is not working? thanks.

If you don't use sync for months, first your data and then your account will be removed as per our sync ToS. See the paragraph under "limited storage".
If you can PM your services.sync.username (preference) or e-mail you're using, I can check if it's still there. If it was cleaned up, just re-register a sync account with the same e-mail address.

Thanks. Unfortunately your account seems to have been purged due to inactivity. You'll have to re-register (feel free to use the same e-mail and password if you want)
