Words with Friends on Facebook won't load on PM 26b1 for Linux even when the useragent.override for apps.facebook.com is set to the standard Firefox 38 user agent string or the default user agent string in PM 25. Words with Friends works well in PM 25 when in Firefox compatibility mode.

Considering this Alpha release of PM utilizes a new rendering engine, I find it works very well with all of my sites of interest. PM 26A is surprisingly seamless and stable. Kudos, Moonchild! Looking forward to the next release of PM 26!

First PM26 isn't a alpha. Its current in beta phase.
And maybe a mod can merge this with the offiziel PM26 thread?: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9060

First of all, thanks a lot for all the hard work on PM!

The first thing I noticed when I switched from PM 25.6 is that it's faster. Much faster and snappier. That's awesome!

The two big problems I faced are follows:

1. Google. So much sniffing. Gmail doesn't load its normal view. Youtube videos won't play in full screen, even with changing user agent to FF 29.

2. This one has been already reported, but this is a maker or breaker-level thing for me, so I post it again. My apologies.
Thing is, Flashgot does not seem to work with the Browser built-in download manager. It's passing things to other Download managers fine apparently, but Flashgot + Browser Built-in does not work. Any video I try to download with this, does not turn up in the Downloads list, and when I check the folder, a 0 byte file is written.

Is it something from the Flashgot side itself?

Thanks a lot again!

Thanks, everyone, for your feedback!

Based on the feedback so far, a number of things have been changed and improved on the main development branch to work around a lot of website issues. The problems won't necessarily be solved (because that is still the webmaster's task in the case of UA sniffing) but for the user a lot more sites should work properly or stop complaining.

I'll be closing this thread and will build a new public beta 2, to be released shortly - further feedback on beta 1 isn't needed. Please wait for the new beta, and if you have further feedback at that point in time, direct your attention to the new thread for that public beta.
