Interop 2026 and us

Post by Mæstro » 2026-02-14, 16:54

Today, it came to my attention that the browser cartel plan to co-ordinate their CSS and certain other technical implementations. HowToGeek’s overview suggests their slight heterogeneity in these often suffices to break sites in Firefox. The official site renders blank without JavaScript, just to boost everybody’s confidence in the measure. :coffee:

Some aspects of Interop 2026, such as anything to do with WebRTC, do not apply to Pale Moon, although they might to Basilisk. On the whole, what bearing ought this to have on our affairs?

The "WPT" workgroup is trying to label itself as authoritative now? I guess I could have expected something like that.

I think this is the overview you meant to link.
