Bounce Tracking Protection on Pale Moon

Unread post by sinfulosd » 2025-04-30, 04:33

This feature was released on Firefox 133.0 and was made specifically to combat these middle links that would track you, wherever you go (I'm talking about the ones where you find them on google links, Amazon, Linkedin, even Mozilla links).

I was not really able to find an add-on here that would do the same exact job, but why would we ask for an add-on for it, when it can be natively supported here on Pale Moon, through the Preference > Privacy > Tracking tab

You can read more about the feature here and even inside the link there is another link that explains its technical details as well

Take a look at PureURL, URL Rewriter and (from CAA) Redirect Bypasser.
