inet_ntoa vs. inet_ntop ?

According the the Linux inet_ntop man page "inet_ntoa(3) is now considered to be deprecated in favor of inet_ntop()", however the v32.2.0 Palemoon release notes state the opposite. Is this simply a typo, or did someone actually deprecate in the opposite direction?
