"CTRL + Tab" doesn't go to the next tab on the right

Unread post by Mimine » 2022-12-26, 17:31

Hi ,
I think this is a bug :
When I do "CTRL + Tab" it doesnt go to the next tab on the right...
Instead it shows a menu and makes all complicated when we have many tabs open.
Thanks

Did you mean "ctrl+tab"?

Ctrl+PgUP / Ctrl+PgDown provide a GUI-less method to switch tabs.

And/or, in about:config, change the value of: browser.ctrlTab.previews to 'false'.
(In which case, Ctrl+Tab will not display the GUI.)

Se therube's past for an explanation in that case. Ctrl+Tab by default pops up the graphical tab switcher in a most-recently-used order. If you tab across to "show all" then it will switch to the tab panel with filter/search. If you want different behaviour, i.e. a rudimentary tab back and forward, then disable the graphical Ctrl+tab previews from Preferences -> Tabs -> Show previews when... Ctrl+Tab.
