For some reason people at gtk instead of fixing the issue reported in 2014 to them keep occasionally sending me needinfo requests if this is still an issue. Obviously I can't easily test this since I don't run Linux on any of my PCs.
Can you Linux users out there please help by letting me know if UXP applications like Pale Moon, Epyrus, Basilisk, etc. are still crashing on the oxygen-gtk engine?
Or maybe chip in directly at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341181 ?

Is there anything we need to do to make it crash? I don't see anything about how to reproduce the crash on the bugtracking page. I've installed Oxygen just to test this out, but so far within the first hour of use Pale Moon is running fine.

In Debianworld, the package is gtk2-engines-oxygen. The version I patched way back in 2015 is still an upgrade in the gtk2 Pale Moon OBS repo. If a user adds that repo, it will be seen as an upgrade along with any of Pale Moon's.andyprough wrote: ↑2022-12-07, 19:51Is there anything we need to do to make it crash?
