Re: What do you REALLY want from Pale Moon?
So presumably the results of this poll will impact what will happen in the future so if people picked the first option Pale Moon could switch to a Chromium base or if they picked the last option, Pale Moon might be rebased on a newer version of Firefox? It's just we're given a poll that's important and we should think about it, but we're not told why this poll is being made nor are we permitted to discuss our thought process because it might influence others which is bad..why? I just have to question the actual value of this with such limitations of information and the ability to discuss.

I think things are more simply: what is the main purpose of a browser? -to help you browse the internet in relative safety and at a good speed. If more and more pages became inaccesible or malfunctioning due to "standards" imposed by the known politically supported monopoly and you can't do nothing, then the main function of the browser is vanished, so you can have a lot of functional extensions in vain because will be useless.

I hope Pale Moon still goes as a fork of Firefox instead of Chrome. I like the way it is now, very fast, optimized to use less resources. It really works very well for me as my primary browser, I almost don't have to switch to Edge/Chromium and when I have to do it is because of the web site being very dumb.
