Using Weston Wayland compositor

Starting Pale Moon on Wayland session is not possible due to segmentation fault

If you are using the GTK 2 version then it's simply not compatible and you have to use XWayland.
With GTK 3 you might get something better but most likely you need XWayland.

We don't currently support Wayland in any shape or form (and it may be some time until we do) so you will need X compatibility in Wayland to use our applications.
