Possible Permissions Enhancement

Unread post by [TMac] » 2019-07-17, 03:12

There's an area I'd like a bit more powerful, which I'm happy to code up, if it won't get rejected... I don't dig the approach to per-site User Agent settings.

I'd like to add to the Permissions screen a (per-site, obviously) User Agent setting.

I asked M.C. He said I should query here.

It's not a 'permission' but is site-specific. Thoughts?

Extensionsphere. Prove your concept there first.

You mean a permission-rule to "peg" a specific user agent on a website, inclusive the used crossdomain (sub)domains?

As an avid user of Pale Moon who has plenty of useragent overrides of websites coded by "There is only Chrome"-coders, I'd welcome this feature :D
