Pressing Stop (or its hotkey) would halt gif animation

Pressing Stop (or its hotkey) would halt animations (gif). This was a feature in firefox that was eventually removed (I suggested it to them to re-add it, they did for a time, eventually removed it again). I am probably the only person who used the feature.

Regardless, this is the only browser I can use while gaming, and appreciate the apparent emphasis on security.

No need for an extension. Pale Moon has had a stop all shortcut for a long time already: Shift+Esc

Just be aware that it will stop all activity for the tab, including (background) network activity -- some web-based applications might not like that very much and need a refresh/reload to get back to a working state after using the stop-all combination.
