Refresh function gone in PM 27?

Hi,

There was this feature that allowed the user to refresh Pale Moon in Troubleshooting Information by removing an old profile and replacing by a new one, keeping only bookmarks, history, cookies and password.This has been replaced by ''Restart Pale Moon with add-ons disabled'' in PM 27. But it's not the same...

I very much liked the refresh feature, it's great to restart things anew once in a while.

Any way this could be implemented again in a future release?

For the moment you can reset the profile by starting Pale Moon with the "--reset-profile" command-line parameter.
I'll look into restoring the button on the support screen; some fallout from the toolkit update.

It's a regression from the platform update -- Mozilla in their wisdom made it a hard requirement for the app name to be the same as the migrator internal name -- that only happens if the application is called "firefox" for self-migration.

27.0.1 will have it restored.

I think it's useful for the average joe who just wants to remove some crap out of his browser and return to factory state.
