WebGL 2?

Unread post by 137ben » 2016-11-17, 23:44

The latest Chrome Canary builds have WebGL 2 enabled by default, and it will be in the mainline Chrome 56. That means that in a few months, a majority of internet users will have WebGL 2. Mozilla is also working on getting WebGL 2 into the main release of Firefox. With a large portion of internet-users having WebGL 2, more websites are likely to start using it. Browser-based games have been slowly moving to WebGL from Flash, and that trend is likely to speed up as WebGL 2 enters mass deployment.

What is the status of WebGL development in Pale Moon? Is it on the table for some post-Tycho version of Pale Moon? I couldn't find anything about it on this forum or the main site, but it's possible I missed something obvious
