Hi all
I am, naturally, using XP and don't want to change operating system.
Pale Moon advised that there was an update that I downloaded and installed. Since then Pale Moon does not connect to most web sites but using other browsers the sites work fine.
It was obviously the update 'Improvement' that caused the problem.
So I uninstalled Pale Moon, downloaded the earlier version and installed it again. It still doesn't work!!!
I uninstalled using Revo Uninstaller that is 'Supposed' to remove all files associated with a program that the Windows uninstall leaves behind but since when the new installed older version of Pale Moon started it had all the existing tabs from before uninstalling the updated Pale Moon it is obvious that some existing files and or folders are being used.
What can I do to make Pale Moon work again?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Re: Pale Moon not working after update
What are you using as antivirus/internet security/firewall?
Problems with connectivity after an upgrade are usually caused by such software blocking a "new unknown program" or sandboxing it, which won't work. Some things will depend on how the block was put in place that it won't work afterwards with an older version either.
So, please check that first.
If that all looks OK, do a re-install of the latest Pale Moon: Make sure all instances of Pale Moon are closed (verify from Task manager or restart your system), and remove the browser from "Add/Remove programs" in Control Panel, then re-install the latest version with the installer from http://www.palemoon.org/palemoon-atom.shtml
If still no joy, follow the instructions here to completely remove and re-install:
