25.3.1 (x86) constant issue that causes crashes
in the PM browser. 32bit XP SP3 4GB of Ram. The continual popup message - The instruction at "0x016cb791" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". How to fix ? Tried reinstalling palemoon-25.0.0.winxp32 - still the same issue. just started today. this forum will not allow me at attach a Screen Shot of the message/issue. Thx

All I needed to do per Moonchild's instructions:

What to do if you experience sudden crashes:
Go to Add-Ons (add-on manager) in the menu (or press Ctrl+Shift+A)
Click the gear at the top
Uncheck "Update add-ons automatically"
This will prevent the browser from checking for updates and pulling down extension packages that may crash your browser.

This is not necessary for Pale Moon 25.3.2 (just released) Also, We have suspended update checking for extensions hosted on AMO for versions lower than the emergency hotfix version we just released.
