[SOLVED] Trouble HTTPS webs: This connection is not verified

Post by Turson » 2015-02-23, 17:56

Since yesterday, continuously displays this by trying to navigate HTTPS webs:

This connection is not verified
Get me out of here
... (Error code: sec_error_expired_issuer_certificate)

Also, occurred failure in Panda Antivirus Pro (promo), it stopped working. Time of trial, wrongly out.
I don't know if its disabled Firewall may have affected to Pale Moon.

Edit: I did clean uninstall Panda antivirus.

If it's an expired certificate warning you get on every https connection, then please check your AV and proxy settings. Some antivirus packages these days want to "scan https traffic" which is a very bad idea for several reasons, and should not be done. If your AV does this and it offers a bad/expired certificate chain to "make a secure connection to the browser locally", then you're in the boat you are in now.

Check proxies in Pale Moon: Options -> Advanced -> Network -> configure how Pale Moon connects to the internet : Ensure it's set to "no proxy"

Hi.
By strange reason, the Windows date was inadvertently changed, it displayed year 3215, and after 2099.
I'm looking for cause. Other programs failed too.

Regarding Pale Moon, How setting to default values its Certificates?

I have PM4XP installed (Pale Moon version), Does this get updates from Pale Moon?
Will be until July 2015?

Thanks.

Solved: Issue was due to Panda Cloud Antivirus Bug.
