memory leak on latest update

Post by apcar » 2015-02-07, 23:34

I upgraded PaleMoon to the latest 25.2.1 and encountered severe memory issues
visiting Walmart.com things became very sluggish and page was unresponsive.
did Ctrl / alt / del and mem usage of Palemoon was off the charts and climbing
I reverted back to the previous version 25.2.0 and the issue went away
I am running Win XP Corp edition 32 bit

any ideas whats going on?
I love this Browser!!!

There have been no changes in code between 25.2.0 and 25.2.1 except the one proxy handling fix (which would not result in out of bounds memory use).
Please try installing 25.2.1 from the off-line installer after disabling your antivirus software, to make sure it will not interfere with your upgrade.
