Hi,
Just downloaded the last version of PM - for Atom/XP and it's really getting on my nerves. It's stalling, freezing, it's not opening up flash content properly and I'm about to call it quits. I'm just wondering if it's something in the code or maybe Chrome is somehow interfering - because I downloaded the latest version of that as well. Tried disabling add-ons - that didn't work. Mostly the issues are with flash/java content and just generally moving around on a page - it keeps jumping and resisting.
Thoughts, ideas - and maybe someone can fix what's ailing this version?

Re: ATOM/XP - Sticky, Stalling and Uncomfortable
Now that you tell about Java which version do you use? Java 7 should work fine in Windows XP, although Java 8 CAN be installed in Windows XP; It is not really a good option since Oracle do not support this setup anymore. As for Adobe Flash the version 16 is very jerky as well and I am in Windows 7! So unless you need the cutting edge feaures of Flash, you can downgrade safely to Flash 11.2 or 11.3.
Also webpage devs abuse of flash and in a slow system 2 flash playing at the same time can be painful. Try install and check with some flash-block add-on. They load a play button and only load the SWF file when you want to see it.
I hope this help!

Re: ATOM/XP - Sticky, Stalling and Uncomfortable
I whole heartily agree with the flash-block. I used to have mass freeze ups on many websites. I also have the latest Atom/XP 25.4.1 running Shockwave 17.0 and have seen no problems as missbliss has spoken of. I have resisted the latest update on flash as I always like to wait a bit to see what kind of new troubles pop up. Saves me the hassle.
