Bypassing site locks

Unread post by cambit » 2018-01-17, 08:30

Good afternoon. I'm using Pale moon Version: 27.5.1 (32-bit) under Windows XP. Tell me, can I somehow install this plugin: https: //addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/windscribe/ or its earlier version.
Perhaps there are other analogues of this extension, (for example Browsec), but I have not yet found.
In principle, any other way of circumventing the blocking of sites by the provider by means of our browser is suitable for me.

The add-on is jetpack and not supported in PM. It can be installed using this add-on:

https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/moon-tester-tool/

It would then have to be updated manually.

Moon Tester Tool is NOT a solution but a developmental aid. Stop suggesting it.

Jetpack extensions CANNOT be utilized in Pale Moon, even if you try to use MTT to install it.
The developer has to use PMKit to modify the extension.
If you want to use a Jetpack extension, you have to ask the developer to make it possible, or you must create a fork and modify accordingly.

MTT will install some jetpack add-ons as seen here "[TEST] Windscribe 0.1.38". Without the desktop app I don't know if it works.

It would seem to me that using MTT for something as important as your VPN and not knowing if it actually works is a really bad idea!
