Unread postby kla87 » Mon, 15 Jan 2018, 23:01

Can someone please supply a direct link to the last working PM for xp/atom? Much appreciated as I cannot access the archives for some reason.

The archive was moved recently.

Go to the archive's "landing page" : http://www.palemoon.org/archived.shtml
Use the link in the middle of the page.

You've posted about this before and were advised to adjust your firewall. Did you give that a try?

In any event, try this:

Code: Select all

ftp://archive:get@archive.palemoon.org/Pale_Moon/26.x/26.5.0/
ftp://archive:get@archive.palemoon.org/Pale_Moon/26.x/26.5.0/palemoon-26.5.0.Atom.WinXP.installer.exe
ftp://archive:get@archive.palemoon.org/Pale_Moon/26.x/26.5.0/palemoon-26.5.0.Atom.WinXP.installer.exe.sig
ftp://archive:get@archive.palemoon.org/Pale_Moon/26.x/26.5.0/palemoon-26.5.0.Atom.WinXP.zip
ftp://archive:get@archive.palemoon.org/Pale_Moon/26.x/26.5.0/palemoon-26.5.0.Atom.WinXP.zip.sig
ftp://archive:get@archive.palemoon.org/Pale_Moon/26.x/26.5.0/Palemoon-Portable-26.5.0.Atom.WinXP.exe
ftp://archive:get@archive.palemoon.org/Pale_Moon/26.x/26.5.0/Palemoon-Portable-26.5.0.Atom.WinXP.exe.sig

Yes, I don't know why I can't access it. Are those files hosted anywhere on a safe, non-ftp site?

FTP is a very common way of sharing files. Are you saying that you cannot open the archive site or simply cannot
download a particular version? I would not trust to get them from anywhere else.

Here is the direct link to PM 26.5.0 Xp Atom.
ftp://archive:get@archive.palemoon.org/ ... .WinXP.zip

I don't know of any trustworthy external sites either.

Why do you need a direct file link, anyway?
If you're going to automate this, then please do so from a local server.

I stupidly thought perhaps a single download would work that way.
