how to refresh a webpage

Unread post by greyowl » 2016-01-26, 01:54

How do I refresh a web page so that PM go to the source for up to date data rather than relying solely on the cache?
Thanks for the help.

You can use "CTRL" + "F5" key on your keyboard for a "hard" refresh.

That's odd, I thought it was CTRL+F5. Then again, the user can try both.

F5 is a regular refresh, same as clicking the reload button.

Ctrl+F5 is a refresh that bypasses the caches.
(You can also Ctrl+click the reload button)

Thanks, I realized I made the mistake and was correcting myself as you were posting this. Guess I was too slow. Did not know about the CTRL+Click though.

Me either, I would just use the CTRL+F5. I do the same with the editing, mistakes a-plenty.
