Sumartra PDF Plugin
Could use a little advice here, as I wish to use the SumatraPDF (2.5.2) plugin for firefox as my default pdf reader in PaleMoon.
It appears to me that on my laptop, PaleMoon's plugins are found here:
c:\PortableApps\PaleMoon\Lib\Mozilla\Plugins\
In that sub-folder I find: npPdfViewer.dll among other plugins.
But when I try to make that my default, it does not show up in the list of potential pdf viewers?
Much thanks.

Re: Sumartra PDF Plugin
What does about:plugins show?
What does Addons Manager -> Plugins show?
2.5.2 was only x86.
There is an x64 version of 3.1.2. but 3.1.2 does not include a browser plugin.
Is your PM x86 or x64?
32-bit plugin will only work in 32-bit browser.

This from about:plugins
File: npPdfViewer.dll,npPdfViewer.dll
Path: C:\Program Files\SumatraPDF\npPdfViewer.dll,C:\PortableApps\PaleMoon\Lib\Mozilla\Plugins\npPdfViewer.dll
Version: 2.5.2.0
State: Enabled
I am using a 32 bit CoreDuo Latitude with 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate. And this is PaleMoon 28.1.0 (32-bit).
Why it is not active, I do not know.
Much thanks.

Re: Sumartra PDF Plugin
Working on my end, XP, PM 26.5.0, Sumatra 2.5.2.
URL: http://www.inkwelleditorial.com/pdfSample.pdf
Do you in fact also have it within PortableApps?
If so, physically move it out from there & see if that makes any difference.
(In my case, I'm running both PortableApps & Sandboxie.)

I only show the first instance of the .dll.Path: C:\Program Files\SumatraPDF\npPdfViewer.dll,C:\PortableApps\PaleMoon\Lib\Mozilla\Plugins\npPdfViewer.dll

Re: Sumartra PDF Plugin
Download zip file X32 or x64 and put the npPdfViewer.dll and SumatraPDF.exe into plugis folder C:\PortableApps\PaleMoon\Lib\Mozilla\Plugins\
Optional you can setup the propper settings in Palemmon-Applications settings if needed.

Re: Sumartra PDF Plugin
I didn't test (your) downloads, but simply copying an "extracted" version of SumatraPDF-2.5.2-install.exe into said directory, worked.
I didn't expect that.
(IOW, you didn't necessarily have to go through an actual "install" procedure.)
Neat.
And then copied SumatraPDF.exe from SumatraPDF-3.1.2.zip, & that still worked.
(Not that there is necessarily anything gained by using a different versions .exe with the older .dll. But interesting that it worked. Though I also would not "push it".)
(I wonder if something similar can be done with Adobe Acrobat Reader; AcroRd32.dll, AcroRd32.exe, & nppdf32.dll?)

Re: Sumartra PDF Plugin
I forgot to say SumatraPDF.exe is the portable version, only the exe file. You can put the latest version into plugins folder.
