The major browser vendors and application providers have issued statements that they too will stop supporting Flash Player (linked from Adobe's press release); if you intend to keep supporting Flash Player after its EOL, so people of the future can view legacy content, I hope that you also link to some place that provides archived installers (or better, archives of the bare DLLs and SO files, so just Pale Moon can use them).

Either that, or this might provide more impetus to the Shumway project.

If anything, we in an official capacity can't be distributing the flash player because it is proprietary, if Adobe decides to pull the players/plugins. So, it'll have to be made available and kept available in places where Adobe can't put legal pressure on whomever is hosting the player and plugin binaries. So.. get some torrents up, people Magnet links are easy to share and you can't prevent someone sharing a checksum.

Shumway? No thanks. that's never been more than an experiment at most.

As much as I'd prefer to use Flash instead of HTML5 on YouTube (mainly because of its superior sound quality compared to HTML5), I can't.

Finally. Flash is just a big security hole

flash is superior "tool". hope google with addobe will sucks with their attempts to kill flash, and, besides, hope that such people will suffer in pain)
