Addon works in Firefox 37 (Linux) but not in Pale Moon

Hi. I came across this addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... en-addons/

This addon adds an icon (movable) and fixed (on the status bar) to go to about:addons.

The addon is not compatible with Firefox 4.0 according to the Mozilla site. However, I have been able to get the addon to work in Firefox 37 (on Linux) by incrementing the version number in install.rdf with only a minor issue: the button looks "pressed" (press once and it does not change its state back to normal).

However, in Pale Moon this addon doesn't work at all. The settings window works, the status bar icon and the movable icon show, but they do not work: pressing either of them does nothing (even if configured).

What could be wrong? The adapted version can be downloaded here: http://hugsmile.eu/file/mozilla/open_ad ... bility.xpi

Per-application GUID issue.. I'll fork it and see if I can get it up and running since it is simple little tool.. Tho it is an abandoned extension with range of Firefox 1.5 to 3.7a1pre (VERY EARLY development version of Firefox 4)
