Color Toggle plugin 0.16 does not work with Pale Moon

Post by doke1 » 2015-04-30, 14:01

Color Toggle is a plugin that lets you quickly switch between normal colors and ones you prefer. It's really useful for people with vision issues. Color Toggle version 0.15 works very well with Pale Moon. However, they recently released 0.16 with updates for Firefox 37. That version still toggles the color choice preferences, but no longer toggles the "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above" preference setting. The author is already working on a fix to allow it to work with both Firefox 37 and older versions. In the meantime, you can download the 0.15 version from his archived versions page, "https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/".

Try making a report to the developer here: https://github.com/nathan-b/colortoggle/issues

Also i looked at the revisions.. It is a standard XUL Overlay extension and does not use app specific GUIDs so nothing on a quick cursory look at the code and changes stood out as being the issue.
How far are you prepared to go? How much are you prepared to risk? How many people are you prepared to sacrifice for victory?
Are you willing to die friendless, alone, deserted by everyone? Because that's what may be required of you in the war that is to come.
