Extension icons not showing
My icon for a number of extensions fail to show(Adblock Plus, Pinterest Pin It, Bookmark Duplicate Cleaner, Personas Plus) In the past one could click to customize the toolbars and display the default set which would include all installed extensions...now it doesn't work. I am using Windows 7 SP 1 64-bit. I am used to using Chromium based browsers and I don't have these problems with any of them.

See here: https://addons.palemoon.org/resources/incompatible/
Some addons don't work because they are made for the "Australis" GUI in Firefox, or because of the GUID change made in Palemoon 25. Usually, using an older, pre-australis version will work.
Also, Tobin forked ABP. "Adblock Latitude" is made specifically for Palemoon.

My add-ons work, but the icons are not available in the tool bars.helloimustbegoing wrote:See here: https://addons.palemoon.org/resources/incompatible/

That is exactly the problem. Technically the addons work, just the GUI elements are not shown because the are defined to work specifically with Firefox.Honey West wrote:My add-ons work, but the icons are not available in the tool bars.

Re: Extension icons not showing
As already stated, usually using the latest version of "whatever" add-on that predates Australis will work (i.e., its icon will be visible).
Re: Extension icons not showing
Why wasting time with Adblockers which do not work fully on Pale Moon when there is also Adblock Latitude available... works flawless and works the same way like adblock plus.

It's not necessarily that simple, for examplehelloimustbegoing wrote:As already stated, usually using the latest version of "whatever" add-on that predates Australis will work (i.e., its icon will be visible).
* Pinterest Pin Button should be compatible but checks for Fx GUID in bootstrap.js => needs fix or fork
* Personas Plus should also be compatible, but chrome.manifest checks for GUID multiple times => needs fix or fork
(Didn't check for further deal breakers.)
For the others
* ABP should (as already mention) be replaced by the PM specific fork
* Bookmark Duplicate Cleaner seems to have no problem.
