Need help getting Symple ID to be compatible with Palemoon

I am currently trying to get the developer of this addon to add Palemoon compatibility. His current stance is that he would like to add compatibility at some point but it is not a high priority ATM. He did say that he would be very interested in any information that would help him. Hence, I'm creating this post in the hope that someone here can provide some solutions.

I have currently noticed 3 problems that affect Symple ID:

1. The Install.rdf doesn't contain Palemoon's GUID and won't install. Adding the GUID fixed this problem, which leads me to ...

2. After the addon finishes installing (doesn't require a restart), it is supposed to open a new tab pointing to the following URL:
resource://jid1-scss7fsdtuu2bg-at-jetpack/sympleid/data/options.html
This does not happen after installing in Palemoon. I installed this addon in Firefox, copied the URL above and pasted it into a new tab in Palemoon, which resulted in ...

3. The options tab is supposed to display the following which allows you to input your license key:

On Palemoon, I see this instead (the circular loading icon is spinning):

I got stuck at this point. I see a reference to Jetpack in the URL which I know that Palemoon doesn't support. Does anyone have any ideas on what the developer can do to fix the 2nd and 3rd incompatibilities? Help will be greatly appreciated.
