Is anyone using TabsGroup Manager as suggested in Palemoon FAQ ?

Presently TabsGroup Manager is being "carried" by a group of dedicated users at code.google.

To my untrained eye all problems seem to be related to FireFox frequent updates, as mentioned in many reviews on the TabsGroup Manager 2011.00.28.1download page There are 460+ comments to read (and obviously recent critics have not bothered to do some research into the status of TabsGroup Manager

TabsGroup Manager is not listed on Palemoon addons incompatibles nor on all extensions lists.

Is the Palemoon FAQ How do I restore Tab Groups/Panorama in Pale Moon 24? recommending the version 2011.11.281.1 dated Nov-2011.
The proffered download on code.google Experience TGM presents an XPI file, but I have no experience of XPI files.

How do I use the XPI file ? ... If at all?

An XPI file is nothing but the extension itself! It's actually a ZIP archive with the extension code in it.

To install it, just open it in Pale Moon.

You are also confusing the Tabgroups add-on as created by me with a different, external addon.

I have searched, but cannot find it, only Firefox addons
- am I using the correct "name" ?
