Speeddial middle click problem

Post by spikexp » 2012-04-05, 01:29

I tried with the add-ons speeddial and fvd, they both use hbox and box for the dial, and I can't use middle click on the dial to open in new tab in background.

I'm a huge opera user, and I can't go without my speeddial.
The problem is with both 32bit and 64bit version.

If you need any other information, you can ask.

Suggestion: talk to the add-on developers to add a middle-click option to the speed dial for opening in a new tab.
Since this is not a core feature, there's little I can do to "make it work" on a middle click as they are not normal links.

It is a core feature.
The problem is obliviously on palemoon end since it work in waterfox and normal firefox.

Middleclick is suppose to open to a new background tab, but it only work sometime. I can just spam a dial and it will open randomly after some time.

It's an add-on.

If the middle-click core feature was broken, middle-clicking on a link in a regular page would also not work.

Short of having a look at the add-on code myself (which I don't have time for and which is not my job to begin with), there is nothing I can suggest to alleviate this problem.

I see it as a bug report, but it's a bug report that should be sent to the add-on developers, not the Pale Moon browser developers :)

Enjoy using Opera!

For future reference to people with a similar problem, look at the other add-on.

Speeddial doesn't see to love all-in-one gestures, so I pass to firegestures.
I should have started with that, disabling all the other add-on to see if it was the problem.

Now palemoon is my secondary browser for when I have heavy program running (for my ram in BF3). Opera sometime take up to 800mb because of the flash plugin on youtube, and it doesn't go down even when closing all tab.
