Portable x64 + Flashblock since Pale Moon 25.0.0

Hi all,

Long time Pale Moon user, first post here.
Since updating Pale Moon x64 Portable to version 25.0.0 (from previous release), Flashblock 1.5.17 behaves differently and not as expected.

Example:
Go to YouTube. You still get the F button and once allowed (for that item) the video plays. Then if you click links on the right hand side these just play as though you've allowed flash for that site. This didn't happen on previous versions of Palemoon (each new YouTube video would show the F button). Additionally if you then use the back button the videos will play automatically (i.e. Flash is not being blocked on a per item basis). However, if within the same tab (or a new one), you visit a bookmarked YouTube link the expected behaviour occurs -- the F button reappears. Then rinse and repeat: new links visited from then on are not flash-blocked again.

Stable system running:
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate Edition
Let me know if you need any more system info.

Thanks, and thanks for Pale Moon -- great browser!

P.

Something definitely going on here.
This really needs a fix, seriously.
In another post "Palemoon" said something about googly messing around with utube. Looks like they already bought/bribed out firefox, so very believable. Read today, link from dailyrotation google will no longer suport over 9 million droid below 4.4. With hundreds of billions of dollars they can do as they please I guess.

I was running PM 24 and youtube no play with flashblock.
Upgraded to PM 25.1 and same.
Tried using NoScript but once allowed no more control until restart. So , , , stuck. What ever happened to "click to play?

Now wasting bandwidth.

I gave up on Flashblock a long time ago because it isn't compatible with NoScript. But if you choose "Temporarily allow ..." in NoScript, then you can choose "Revoke Temporary Permissions" when you're ready to disable it.

Can Confirm that

Version 24 and 25..1 and 25.2 same issue. With Flashblock the Flashblock Item is not clickable more on Youtube?
Whitelists: Make sure that you leave out the protocol prefix e.g. "https://" so to whitelist youtube, you should just use "youtube.com".

A User mentioned that whitelisting youtube videos embedded on other sites stopped working because the URL has changed, You should now whitelist "s.ytimg.com/yt" instead.

I set Flash to "Ask to activate" and use the "Click to play per element" addon, and it works perfectly fine for me. Do exactly what it's supposed to do without the slightest issue. You may want to try it.
