Tab Utilities Plus 1.1.3 compatibility

After updating to PM 11, Tab Utilities Plus has been disabled due to an incompatibility problem, this is one of my favourite addons which I regard as essential, my impression was v. 11 would incorporate auto - compatibilty for addons. I really miss this addon and am having to temporarily use Tab Mix Plus which isn't as functional. Will I have to wait until the developer rewrites the code and brings out a compatible version. ?

"Auto compatibility" is a default when the status of the add-on isn't known. If it was disabled for compatibility then it's been a known problem at the Mozilla add-ons repository. I'm afraid you'll have to wait for a compatible version, indeed, in that case.

If you're referring to Tab Utilities 1.1.3 ( as opposed to one called Tab Utilities Plus 1.1.3) by author ithinc, you can try using the pre-release version that's found in that add-on's Development Channel. The version is Version 1.2pre18. I used this version when FF 9 or 10 came out and Tab Utilities 1.1.2 wasn't compatible. When v1.1.3 was released I switched back to the officially released version. I had to go back to running the 1.2pre18 version again when FF11 came out and Tab Utilities 1.1.3 wasn't compatible.

The 1.2pre18 version works equally well in PM11.

Great thanks for that garyinri just downloaded and it seems to work perfectly - will be waiting for an update in the not too distant future... and yes you're right it's Tab Utilities 1.1.3 and not Tab Utilities 'Plus' 1.1.3.
