Seatch plugin "stealthy"

Unread post by Stalkist » 2023-12-03, 09:48

Hello everybody! This is very important to me, so I am asking for help. I had a plugin, it was called roughly "stealthy", it automatically changed proxies. I replaced Windows on my laptop and everything is gone, and now I can't find this plugin, it's extremely important to me. I will be grateful for your help.

If you perform a page-text search for proxy on https://addons.palemoon.org/extensions/?all=1, you will find two items you can assess to determine whether one or both may serve your requirements: Hope this helps…

no, I need exactly what I'm looking for. Others are not suitable.

Nothing to fix, it's an obsolete externally hosted extension that's been abandoned for years, and now the original site hosting it is gone. Changing the global user agent does nothing for privacy and only breaks websites; Pale Moon supports site specific user agents that may work for sites that deny access based on user agent. In addition, user agent handling has changed since the extension was last published so old version of it are beyond useless.

I've disabled the listing. That's the only kind of "fix" that's possible.

Thanks, it's about time. People still show up here asking why it doesn't work, or thinking that fiddling with the UA will enable stealth mode for them
