Internet Explorer 9 Theme for Pale Moon

Unread post by HJ346 » 2023-05-21, 03:42

Hello! I have ported the theme FoxE9 to Pale Moon, This gives an almost identical theme to IE9. To install the theme go here: https://github.com/HJ3461/MoonE9. After installing make sure you go to about:config and search for “browser.padlock.shown” once you see it set it to false. Then right click on the toolbar and check “Tabs on Top” and there you go, you have an almost identical theme to IE9 on Pale moon!

Do consider publishing it on the Pale Moon addons site, it will be more easily discoverable when featured along with other existing themes.

I have tried. It gives a weird error about install .rdf. I also It doesn't let me log on to the phobeus panel anymore. Just keeps popping up with the login window like I never entered it.

Check your syntax; if that was you on the subreddit I had already linked to a proper install.rdf for you. Also you haven't published the actual source code anywhere on your Github link. Simply uploading the xpi doesn't count. On the main github page you are supposed to upload your source tree, and the XPI should remain in the releases section. I mean even the source code zip there just contains the XPI!
