Not sure why you didn't check their website :)
It actually even links to our addons site which has a description explaining what it does.

Is this extension still working? I remember keeping an eye on the blockages and they were minimal vs the amount of traffic I generated?

It's one of those extensions that needs constant updating because websites will use later and later versions of the libs provided locally. I really don't know the status of that at the moment but I'm guessing it's very much out of date; in that case it will not do much of anything.

Both the Firefox version and the Chrome version has not been updated in over 15 months. I checked because the Pale Moon extension tended to be ignored while the others got updated (see my thread from 2½ years ago). But now none are. I hope the extension hasn't been abandoned.

Considering what you said it does seem to be abandoned.

Moonchild, thank you for the info.

I believe that Decentraleyes has been forked and is now called Local CDN.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ntraleyes/

https://codeberg.org/nobody/LocalCDN

https://www.localcdn.org/

Would be great if decentraleyes can be replaced by a LocalCDN extension, but am unsure about how difficult that process is?

The fork is probably a WebExtension

Ultimately what needs doing for Pale moon us using the XUL extension and making sure to keep the libraries updated. So just maintenance, really.

I'd be willing to do this, if there's anybody out there who wouldn't mind showing me how, and not being impatient with a bunch of hand holding.
