Browser version:I installed Version 32.0.1 on three machines before I realized MHT/MAFF no longer supported
32-bit or 64-bit browser?:64
Problem URL:Would Like to get installation download with MHT/MAFF support (V28 or earlier I believe)
Browser theme (if not default):
Installed add-ons:MHT/MAFF add-on.
Installed plugins: (about:plugins):
I remember installing a Portable version of Palemoon back when MHT/MAFF
were supported. If possible, I'd like to find the instructions for doing that,
using the older legacy version. No need for the external media support, just
want to install it on my Ubuntu 20.04 servers the way it was originally explained.
If there's a repository for the legacy add-ons would like to know where that is.
I have two legacy versions of PaleMoon still running on Ubuntu distros. Worst case,
if I cant get a legacy install (portable, or otherwise), is it possible I could excise the
installed modules from their current Ubuntu platform, and transplant them into my
more recent Ubuntu 20.04 platforms? Sorry to post a question this complicated,
it never occurred to me that the MHT/MAFF add-ons would be discarded. IMHO,
it would be well worth the time to maintain a legacy version of PaleMoon with that
support. 'Portable Web Content' is extremely timely and valuable these days.
Any response very much appreciated. Just in case: ted @ cosmozilla.net
is alternate e-mail (had a hard time getting re-registered).
Thanks much. -Ted
