Where are the Pale Moon plug-ins located?
I want to know in what location/folder are located the Pale Moon plug-ins in my hard drive. I knew this, but I forgot the location.
I'm asking this, because I want to add QuickTime, and ActiveX plug-ins to that folder.

Please note that activeX plugins won't work. they need to be NPAPI plugins.
Plugins can be located in several places. in your profile (/plugins) in the application folder or in any location on your hard drive with the appropriate registry entry (flash does it that way)

IIRC QuickTime had an NPAPI plugin, but not supported anymore.
Plugins do not come from Pale Moon itself, they come/came from other vendors like Apple, Adobe etc.
I don't know any active developed NPAPI plugin, it is an old API that is mostly abandoned.

Can I drop a symbolic link for the plug-in DLL in the plug-ins folder?

How can I set the environment variable for the plug-ins folder? Will the MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH variable work?

And can I copy the QuickTime plug-in DLLs into “C:\Program Files\Pale Moon\browser\plugins”?

Curious.
What are you looking at that is requiring QT ?
Would downloading or opening a link in something like mplayer / mpv (video player) be an option?

I don't know how, but after Installing QuickTime (make sure you install the plugin) it should be available for Pale Moon - like Adobe Flash and other too.Patricek0056 wrote: ↑2023-02-08, 16:21And can I copy the QuickTime plug-in DLLs into “C:\Program Files\Pale Moon\browser\plugins”?

Developers still attend the Chinese edition of Flash (for Mac and Windows; Linux has lately been halted), and Clean Flash derived from it.Pentium4User wrote: ↑2023-02-08, 16:00I don't know any active developed NPAPI plugin, it is an old API that is mostly abandoned.

I wonder whether we have many Chinese users, or else what browsers they are using, for as far as I know, the UXP Project’s browsers are the only ones still maintained which support NPAPI, SeaMonkey having lately forsaken this.
