LastPass Extension update
I have the latest Pale Moon installed on 2 identical windows 7 computers. When I check for updates to extensions I find LastPass 2.0.26 on one and LastPass 2.5.0 on the other, and they both say no updates available. How can that be? It seems that 2.0.26 should have an update available. By the way, I love you fast browser.

Re: LastPass Extension update
Not a LastPass user - but AFAICS the latest LastPass Add-on available from the Mozilla Add-ons (AMO) LastPass Password Manager page is only v2.0.20 - so that would be the latest AMO can provide to you by clicking the "Gearwheel" icon and doing a "Check for Updates" from Pale Moon's Add-ons Manager.
Since you already have "LastPass 2.0.26 on one and LastPass 2.5.0 on the other" this suggests the LastPass Add-on is being updated via direct updates supplied to your installed LastPass application itself. The fact that these are out of step suggests you might have "Turn off Automatic Updates" (or similar) selected in the LastPass application's options on the lagging (v2.0.26) computer?
LastPass may also provide a "Firefox" Add-on update page/link somewhere on their site - but you probably need to sign in?
PS. If you have recently installed or re-installed LastPass on one machine - then it will have had the latest Add-on (v2.5.0?) "onboard" the LastPass installer package. If the other computer has had LastPass (Add-on v2.0.26) installed for some time the it may only update if it detects that Pale Moon requires it. As the current release of Pale Moon is based on Gecko/Firefox 20.x then v2.0.26 may be all you need?

Re: LastPass Extension update
Hello, vnoga.
The same thing happens to me all the time. Not only with Palemoon profiles but also with profiles of any Firefox-based browsers. Sometimes an update of an extension is available in different profiles with a difference of seconds, minutes or even hours.
I always assumed it is a protection mechanism implemented by the Mozilla site against traffic exes.

Re: LastPass Extension update
LastPass 2.5 is the stand-alone application - LastPass Universal Windows Installer.
LastPass 2.0 is the browser-only extension - LastPass for Firefox.
You took different paths when implementing LastPass on the two systems.

Re: LastPass Extension update
You are correct, dallas7, I took 2 different paths on the original installations of the 2 computers. Today I went to majorgeeks.com with my Pale Moon browser that had the 2.0.26 version and they just happened to have 2.5.0 listed as a download dated August 17. I did NOT click on the download button but scrolled down further on that page and it had a link that said "Firefox users will need this version". I clicked on that link and it installed 2.5.0, so now both computers have the same version. My usual method of updating extensions has been to look at the extension list in the browser and then click check for updates in the gear icon. Hopefully that will continue to work in the future.

Re: LastPass Extension update
It will continue to work but with a delay. The editors at addons.mozilla.org take a long time to review updates (sometimes more than a month), and until it's been reviewed, the add-on manager will not give you an available update.

Yep, from there the windows installer updates the major browsers, we PM users will have to wait until it appears on the Firefox addons site.
