transient effect while restoring sessions

Unread post by Lucio Chiappetti » 2023-01-08, 09:44

I use Session Manager 0.8.1.14. Routinely when I start the browser (31.4.2 under Linux) I perform two manual actions (one to remove an auxiliary menu bar normally hidden, and the other to restore the "previous browsing session" from the Session Manager menu).
My previous session is usually of three windows with a few tabs each, and two of the windows iconified.
This morning (some 30-40 min ago) something funny (not critical at all) occurred: all the three windows came up open, not iconified; and the text in the tabs was not the title of the various pages, but their URL. It was like there was some delay. This was coincidental with a time the Pale Moon forum was unreachable (just an occasional coincidence?).
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man. (G.B. Shaw)
